Of course the world wasn’t ready for it… it was $1,000 for a mobile device….the price of this made it a complete FAIL.

Apple didn’t wanna make the same mistake twice with the iPad…sure they could of mad a macbook air like touchcreen with only display and isight cam..but it would of cost at least $2500

i wonder what apple will come up with in the next ten years

  8. Kello1231 on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 3:52 pm

Yeah but this could do it 10 years before your stupid fucking Windows Mobile.
And the Newton was a really smart device. If they had expanded on it it would have been amazing today.

    It’s smaller than the iPad!

  13. madmax2069 on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 6:13 pm

Yep, i own a Newton MP 2100 and still his input showed me how to do somethings due to his attention to detail when he was explaining things. I have owned it for 3 years and still finding out stuff to do on this thing.

The thing works even if its old. still can be used for allot that some of todays tech still cant do or do correctly.

    “September 09, 2008″

He also clearly states that this is just a comparison for modern devices.

  21. madmax2069 on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 9:42 pm

No wrong, he showed and explained what and how to do things within that time. watch the video again.

  22. madmax2069 on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 10:11 pm

When he made this video the iPhone did not have copy and paste. and to this day no device can do all what the newton can. and i highly doubt anything will.

Lits see what your tilt can do if running at 162mhz with 4mb ram and 4mb storage ? Not much

  23. yummydj on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 11:06 pm

dude, this video was made 2 years ago, only the iphone 3gs can copy and paste, the iphone 3g cant, and there was only the iphone 3g at the time.

  24. TheLazyGun on Thu, 11th Mar 2010 11:50 pm

@AlmightySR Really? It smooths shapes? There is a lot of intuitive aspects that have been left out in todays Smart Phones.

Plus look at the Processor and Memory specs, can your ATT Tilt2 do it on the same memory?

  25. AlmightySR on Fri, 12th Mar 2010 12:24 am

lol the iPhone doesnt have copy and paste?!!? LOL I dont know what he means by how far we have NOT come. Because I can do everything he showed and that the iPhone does on my Windows Mobile ATT Tilt 2
