This is not Mac Vs. PC but Mac Vs. Microsoft, both are PC’s. But if you insist, then it’s “PC’s” that win on O/S. Mac’s = restricted to Mac OS with software emulation of other O/S, unless you push on linux (best option there). “PC’s” = not restricted to Microsoft, option of any O/S (including OSX, with certain hardware) hmm hard choice there?? ok onto part 2

I disagree with you there are no viruses on Mac you don’t need antivirus !!! I’ve never experience a crash or viruses on my macs. I am a heavy user too.

I had a pc for a long time. went to friends house. saw shiny white thing with this wierd “opperating sestem” that was amazing. I had a pc for all my life and never heard of mac. I got a mac mini to get a feel of the thing and figured out that I can take my old windows xp disk and install another opperating system on my mac. the application is free with your mac. the thing is awsome and worth the money

Winblows = horrible. Thankfully, we have OS X for “the rest of us” which will eventually be “most of us” once Winblows users all see how much better OS X is.

Obviously all Apple products absolutely pwn any other products of its kind. But the prices are absolutely ridiculous and I would rather have a bigger wallet and deal with a PC any day. I have better things to spend my money on than blowing an extra £500 on a Mac.

idk about 360 cause i dont have it and i aint into video games, i only like PC games! and guess what!! PC is awesome with games! can MAC do it? sometimes it can but there will be some glitch here and there! sure mac does run smoothy! but then theres windows 7 which also runs smooth! i tried the RC version and its an awesome piece of OS! and yea man ur right about that, MAC IS SOO EXPENSIVE!! like the cheapest Mac is 1030 bucks!!

Lmao dude did you just bring up porn but I’m just saying the 360 is a horrible product I mean seriously it’s the worst console out there but since a lot of people have it a lot of people keep buying it. You follow the ecosystem. BUT ANYWAYS!!! Back into operating systems lol on A Mac everything runs a lot smoother because everything is built in and big companies like Photoshop work a lot with Apple because of how smooth it runs. But the “Apple Mac Tax” is harsh on the wallet lol.

Haha wow it’s a good thing that you care that much. Vista isn’t a GREAT operation system it’s bloated, but I mean it’s awesome for the average person like myself. But people like my brother who need a lot of power and photo editing and so forth OS X is awesome too, It’s just personal preference. But I’ll tell you what Microsoft makes terrible products that’s why they have good customer service because they’re constantly fixing it for people. I.E. Xbox 360…

i also think that estimate of 20-25% of Mac OS globally is high, it is more like 10%.
I live in Europe and here is a total different situation than in US. Mac’s share of the market here is at maximum 2-3%

Haha, yeah. It is hard to say since the statistic is always changing. I think that Mac is going to lose some of the market share soon though as people will buy a whole bunch of new Windows 7 machines so the statistic is going to get thrown out of whack.

My girlfriend just got a Mac and she loves it. I am more of a PC person, cause Macs were just too expensive, but I might try it now that they are cheaper.
