I love the ideia of the project as i did the same myself! The one thing my system would best yours is on the cpu. You could get a Pentium III tualatin 1.4ghz. Those Are really really great cpus, they match pentium 2ghz on many benchmarks! As for the videocard, the fx card might be slighty better, but in the end you will only pick the best one after a few 3dmarks and some game benchmarks. But the geforce fx card is my bet on this one.
